Podcasting
My interest in podcasting stems from a desire to seek knowledge through honest conversations and share that knowledge with others. I started podcasting as a UCalgary undergraduate when I launched Informal Education, a show that removed barriers of access to the university, helping share the school’s academic and social riches with the world. Upon graduating from my BA, I parlayed the success of Informal Education into a position with UCalagry Alumni as their digital communications coordinator, which permitted me to interview the institution’s most prominent graduates, continuing my vision of helping create access to education with the podcast, Peer Review. After leaving my position with the university to complete my Education degree, I created Speeding Bullitt: The Life and Films of Steve McQueen, a project supported by a global audience that shares my passion for the Hollywood icon, for film history, and for stories of vintage popular culture.
Speeding Bullitt: The Life and Films of Steve McQueen
Speeding Bullitt is a podcast series that takes an in-depth look at the Hollywood icon, celebrating his life and films through conversations with actors, producers, writers, academics, film historians, and other storytellers who provide insight into Steve McQueen. The podcast also uses McQueen as a vehicle to explore important moments in film history and popular culture.

Peer Review: The University of Calgary Alumni Podcast
In 2016, I was hired by the University of Calgary to create, host, and produce the first 100 episodes of Peer Review: The University of Calgary Alumni Podcast, a weekly show that featured grads in conversation about great moments, big ideas and post-university life.
